The Assessment

An assessment of the company is made over a period which has been as brief as a single day but more commonly requires 2-3 days.  In global terms the objectives and topics are -

* How effectively does the Company embrace and sell its market proposition?

* Is the Company's value proposition validated by its market? If not, why?

* What are the internal management and communication issues?

* How well does the company communicate internally?

* How is the Company perceived against its competitors and the market's needs?

* What problems exist in its marketing strategy?

* What corrective action is recommended?

The assessment is carried out through a series of individual and group meetings within the company and by visiting existing and potential customers. Where possible visits are also made to competitors.The assessment report is usually made in a presentation to the investors.
